I got done doing 60 something in a 35...its $10 per mph over the limit here and he gave me a ticket for exactly $275, he couldnt even round down

My brother got a DWI, and he blew like .19, way over, so the cop put him down for EXACTLY .16, which states if you are two times over the legal limit you get ass raped? No license, huge fines, bad record, etc. But, we're fighting it in court and it's pobably gonna get dropped majorly. We are paying for a lawyer, but for your ticket, it's minimal, just go there and fight it. it is COMPLETELY worth it, because they cant turn it into something worse unless you are being a DICK, but if you dress up and are super worried, they might even drop it to a seatbelt. |

Well, they didn't take my license.. yet. I do plan to fight the ticket, however. Also, get this, I was following my friend to another friends house, the friend in front of me got 10 over, but I got 20 over when he was going so fast that he was pulling away from me. | ||

You're lucky he didn't say you guys were racing. However, losing your license for only 20 over seems a little extreme (have you had three tickets in one year?). Maybe the reason he wrote you down as 60 would be so he could say you were and nail you for racing? idk, Wildcard would know all about this kinda stuff. My best defense against a ticket is a radar detector, saved my ass a few times this week alone. Problem is, if a cop has their radar turned off and just estimates your speed, then you obviously wont detect them ahead of time. But this is to your advantage when you fight the ticket, cause then if the cop tries to say he got you on radar, you can point to your detector and say he didn't have his radar gun on. this will keep him honest. |

Once for not having a city decal and one for parking INFRONT of MY HOUSE facing the wrong way on the street. I had the drivers side to the curb on the left side of the road. The gay part was my house is in the suburbs and not near any major street. But it was only $25 so not worth driving all the way downtown to fight. You people sound like you need to learn to talk your way out of tickets. I've gone 70 in a 30 and nothing. Been pulled over for speeding 55 in a 40 and got nothing but a warning. Broken tail lights and whatnot.. still nothing. |

He didn't say he lost his license, he said he's losing his car. Probably parent enforced. 3 tickets in 1 year = driver retraining and possible loss of license for 30 days. 7 tickets in 3 years = loss of license for 30 days. DUI's and Reckless Driving = loss of license. At least you didn't get arrested. |

How did they take your car for going 20mph over the speed limit? I have been pulled over going 180 in a 100 zone and they gave me a 300$ ticket and sent me on my way... | ||

ktulu, i know all too well what happens in the courts with speeding and racing tickets and got loads of help from card a few months ago. PM me with exactly whats going on and ill tell you everything you need to know. tell me your state as well so i can do some research in the PM. | ||
