Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

 Post any non-mainstream emo band here, I am looking for new stuff to listen to. Band names would be great. You can post some mainstream stuff that I have heard of, just not like Paramore or Taking Back Sunday or any of that that is overplayed for me. I have been working at Hollister for almost a year now and have got my dose of Paramore and them. Preferably screamo that kind of sounds like Silverstein.

 Say Anything, The Academy is..., The Format, AFI, Marianas Trench, The Honorary Title(one of my personal favorites), Dispatch(not so emo but trust me you can't not like them), And i extremely recommend these guys... The Spill Canvas.. from my homestate of South Dakota.. but there starting to get somewhat big.. let me know what ya think

So far Skittles I like Saosin and The Spill Canvas. The other are alright, I'm not too much into acoustic. Saosin fit my needs perfectly so far. I'll keep you all updated as I d/l more smile

Elliot smith is huge. He has the most depressing music there is. When he killed himself, his friends didnt understand why becuase he never said anything, but listen to the fucking music, its upsetting.



Emo isnt a genre. and no one band(other then Elliot smith) has accomplished most of their songs to sounded really similar. and really emo each time. I think you're looking for sad piano music and "I'm about to give up.." music. But to be honest... I think this music is really harmful for people, and I dont think you should be seeking it... Find a few good songs that are emo... but dont go looking for a bunch... It's not helpful at all dude, just wastes time...

 Nah that's not what I am looking for. Of course, sadly, lyrics in these songs relate to me a lot. But I am looking for that sound that they give, the screaming vocals, higher sounding vocals, ect.

For some reason I have grown fond of the sound and was just looking to expand into it.

Btw, Brand New is effing amazing. I've been listening to them for a while, my favorite CD is The Devil and God are Raging Inside of me.

 K, there's some songs by Alexisonfire that might fit for what you're looking for. a lot of their earlier stuff, like "waterwings"
that's all I can think of, just the word screamo brought that up in my mind, killer song even though it's only 2 minutes something.
