Build me a computer. $1,000 budget. I want video games people, and I like having 20 programs open at the same time. I will build it myself so none of the premade shit. Hardware only, I pirated all my software long ago. I want the best, fucking SLI, dual core, triple fucking quadruple godamn mega pixels. I want RAM too, lots of fucking RAM, and video power with RAM in that shit too. I want 64 bit or whatever the best fucking shit is now adays. Make sure the chipset has fucking rails, lots of rails for voltage and fucking electricity and shit. I want it to be cold too, and I don't want loud ass fans fucking being all loud and shit. I want this thing to kick fucking balls for at least 48 months, I'm talking scorched earth mother fuckers! I prefer AMD and nVidia. ATI and Intel can suck my cock. Can you do me this? |

Working on it right now. BTW, SLI doesnt work with WoW. Plus, 1 really good vid card will always perform better and have less compatibility/software problems then SLI. I will make it so you have a choice. Red pill or blue pill. |

Ok, i put together a build that after shipping and handling and what not, comes out just below $1000. It has the latest and greatest AMD AM3 PhenomII x4 processor and DDR3 RAM. Has room for future upgrades too. Also has your Nvidia GFX... and i stick with EVGA cuz they have full lifetime warranty, the best RMA, and they cover Overclocking in their warranty too. Best tech support in the industry as well. Computer Cases I stick to the same two cases all the time. Simply cuz they look awsome, and they perform awsome. Has plenty of room and airflow. You have a choice. They are roughly the same price. 1. -[link]- Antec 900. Everyone has one, and there is a reason why. It looks good, has amazing airflow, remains quiet, has limitless customization options...etc. Also, its a bit lighter then the next one ima list. 2. -[link]- Thermaltake Armor+ The "+" stands for the extra huge fan on the side. Keeps your mobo/vid card/ram nice and cool. Its a bit heavier then the Antec 900, but it looks sleek, and performs just as well. For the most part, cases are all about preference and taste. Its up to you. Motherboard There are only a few brands i trust. Gigabyte, MSI, EVGA. Sure ASUS has a big name, but their tech support is amazingly shitty, and i have had nothing but bad luck with their products. 1. -[link]- Gigabyte board with great reviews. Has the latest AM3 technology from AMD and utilizes dual channel DDR3 1333 RAM. You want 20 applications open at once? No problem... hell, run Crysis in the background too! NOTE: The chipset does not enable you to SLI. Many AMD boards dont. The new ones especially. They support ATI Crossfire instead. Video Card EVGA baby! I originally picked the GTX 285 simply cuz its amazing. Best single GPU there is cuz of higher clocks, less heat, cheaper price to make, less power consumption, etc. But it will bump your budget up another $150. So i chose the step below which also is a winner. 1. -[link]- The GTX260. Pair this with your Mobo and Processor, your games will fly like never before. Overclock this puppy and burn your games. Burn out your card? No problem! EVGA replaces it for free! (As long as you register the card when u get it). Hard Drive 1. -[link]- Simple enough. 7200 RPM. The reason i didnt go with the raptors with 10,000 RPM is cuz its $220 for 300GB. This is $70 for 640GB. The only difference is seek time and the Raptors shave about 3 seconds off computer startup and some other programs. Power Supply Corsair has a great name in power supplies. 750 watt with 4 6+2 pin PCIe connectors. That means future upgrades yay! 1. -[link]- It has a single +12v rail at 60 amps which is the best option. Clear winner. Optical Drive If you want a new one. 1. -[link]- $25... can't go wrong. RAM I checked the "Memory Support List" for that specific motherboard i listed. I found a model on the list from newegg and BINGO! No compatibility problems should arise when installing and booting. 1. -[link]- I got you 4 gigs of DDR3 1333 RAM. I could go 8 gigs, but the new AMD technology does not allow you to maximize all the RAM slots just yet. In the near future, drivers and updates to your BIOS should enable it. I got you 2x 2GB sticks so you have 2 slots open when they do update. Processor AMD Socket AM3 PhenomII x4. Ultra fast. The only other options were Triple Core... fuck that. Also $1,000 was a very flexible # =) In other words, yes to the 285 fuck the 260. The 2nd case is more beastly, I want that one. Oh does that card support dual out? I'm going to be running 2 monitors on this. 2 DVI, that's a yes... Alright alright looks good. What else am I missing? Cmon Glitch I feel this was too easy for you, what else can I do?
