Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

 Hey dudes. If you ever want to see me again please help me out here lol. For the last 3 days i have been looking online for a replacement Motherboard for my PC. Unfortunately, i cannot find one that fits all my old parts. I found ONE on Newegg but it was out of stock, then it just dissapeared from Newegg all together.

My PC consists of this:

Socket 478 3.2ghz P4
DDR400 PC3200 184pin RAM.. Need Dual Channel
EVGA GeForce 7600GT PCI-Expressx16
One Sound card. Runs off regular PCI Slot
Maxtor 100gb HDD SATA Cable
Two CD Drives

I have an Asus X-Series MB right now that i figured may be the problem. Its a P4V800D-X. A hybrid MB capable of running either AGP4x/8x or PCI-Ex16. It sux.

I cannot find a replacement MB for my parts and dont have enough money to replace a shit load of things. So if ANYONE can find me anything please help lol.

ALSO: I have thought about just changing to an AMD board instead of finding a replacement board. -[link]-
This is a Newegg combo for only $109. MB and CPU. Uses my ram and has enough of everything for all my shit. Im not too familiar with AMD, im an Intel guy. Any help would be very much appreciated. Is that combo a good deal and is it somewhat near the same performance as my P4?

Like i said, if you guys love me, and want me back soon, lol, please please please please help me out here lol.

P.S. Im swaying more towards an AMD switch.

P.S.S. For anyone else thinking about buying a hybrid, dont. I have read EVERYWHERE they have multiple compatability problems with a lot of hardware. They might have taken them all off the market since i cannot whatsoever find another one.

AMD singlecore > Intel single core

Switching to an AMD board is impossible with your CPU because no AMD Mobo supports socket 478. This is a cheap mobo i found and it has all you need (i think). I also saw a couple of others but they were pricier.

 In my opinion, what you are looking at looks like it would kill your old system, but I haven't taken much care into hardware as I had a year ago...

It sounds like a good choice for $189. Just note that it is not an SLi board which means if you want a second 7600 in the future your mobo wont support it.

 most of the time when you swap mother boards out (i say most because i have seen RARE exceptions), you have to completely reinstall windows. If you gotta replace some stuff, might as well just upgrade too smile
