This obviously isn't a proposal (yet) since it's not in the Open Proposals sub-forum. It's just a friendly discussion about whether you feel obligated to wear the '[9²5]' tag when you play on FT Classic. Let me state that most members do wear the tag when I see them playing on FTC and this is not some epic problem that keeps me up at night. However, I am curious if there are good reasons not to wear our tag when playing on the "home" server of 9²5. The only reason that comes to mind is that several 9²5 members are also admins and I can understand when they want to go incognito to catch an asshat. Beyond that I don't know of any other legitimate reasons but I'm also open for a discussion. What do y'all think? |

I don't think that there is a reason that should keep people from wearing their tag I know for myself I haven't been wearing it lately because I switched computers and since I do not know what the alt code for the 2 like you have it is I have not yet put it in my name...Other than that I see no real reason other than trying to go incognito to catch ppl being dicks as to why you shouldn't be wearing the tag | ||

We should wear it IMO, it shows how much dedication and time we got in the tank. Well thats why I always wear mine proudly. I can't see no reason not to especially seeing its only a leet few that has it and earned it. My vote wear the tag or Die lol Edited Fri Aug 17 2007, 11:27PM |

here are the only reasons i see to not wear the tag: 1. playing under an alias 2. lost the ² in the tag and waiting for someone to copy+paste from all other times i think it should be worn. esPECially if you are wearing tags of other clans/communities/friends. |

You questioned me on this about a month and a bit ago -- just a recap: I had changed my name to "Steel" to catch an asshat, then when I got rid of him I simply slapped back on the [FT] tag and the Jesus{TzahaL} but I didn't (I forgot to) copy the 9-5 tag, and I had forgotten about it until you brought it up in game... I've since kept the 9-5 tag handy (I now copy and paste into my console so I can just hit page up to copy it) in the event I need to flush off all my tags to catch an asshat. In my opinion: Unless you are there to catch an asshat, you should wear the 9-5 tag as proudly as you wear the [FT] tag. EDIT: From Cha Siew, who can't post here for some reason: "I can't post in the 9²5 forum for some reason so i'll just tell you and hopefully you can spread the word jebus. Well my reason is since I recently reinstalled CS:S I just put the [FT] Kalibur on my name I also don’t know the alt key so I was just going to copy and past it but I forget to when I come play FTC but since I have been busy lately I have not had much time to play but when I next time play and someone is on with the 925 tag I will sure copy and past that bitch on my name  that’s my only reasons

I'm sure I am speaking for more than just myself when I tell you to add punctuation... Even a line break would suffice.... But you just wrote about six run-on sentences without ANY punctuation, and I couldn't understand it; I would need to drop my intelligence and forget all that I have learned about the English language to read that. to wrap it up i cant read shit with no punctuation because its all a bunch of run on crap do you see what i am trying to say its fucking hard to see where the pauses are and what the hell you are trying to say is this a new sentence or am i going insane wait did i just miss another pause oh fuck this is going to be hard to read guess what it was like reading yours ! |
