I remeber the morning and the mixed events that made up my normal day then all of the sudden everyone was put into shock and confusion. We watched the new TV in our class and after I saw the planes hit it didn't stop playing in my mind. I wasnt personally affected by the people that died but I know I've never been more confused in my life. Sorry to anyone who lost someone or knows the lost. | ||

A little off topic but here it goes: Story i heard on the radio This guy on Sept 11, leaves his home early in the morning to go at his job at one of the WTC. The floor was 101 (i'm not sure but it was one high floor). Then his wife is at the house like every normal day and when she was watching the news she sees the footages of the airplane crashings, etc... then she rapidly tries to contact her husband on his celphone. She calls, lets it ring and nobody answer. She gets anxious and scared. Then after a few mins of trying to reach her husband on the phone, he picks it up. She ask "Are you ok? Where are you?" and he replies "What's wrong? I'm at the office." He might not be at the office but he probably was with his secretary. I bet he probably wished he was there at the office right on time. |

Im glad you started this thread because this has been one of the times of our live we will always look back on when were older that helped define us as a generation and i think alot of people have forgotten of the significance this event, i remember the day it happened because my dad came to school and told me the news because my mother was supposed to be in new york for some business meetings the day it happened but my mom was miraculously delayed at the airport and it saved her life. i regret that sucha meaningless loss of life had to occur so that people of anopther culture felt that their point could be made, but i will remember and cherish the lives our country lost. | ||

Loose change is a VERY controversial movie. It's great, if you guys haven't watched it yet. I highly recommend it. (It's the link Fetus posted)' Also, Fetus and Goose, I was in TS when you guys had that debate about government, that was pretty cool to hear your views on 911, and the loose change video and stuff. |
