On the DA server there is no visit "FT office at ......" So people joining apart from "visit -[link]- they wouldn't know anything about FT and if they do they would know both places offer different experiences. |

I am not suggesting that they will have a "FT office at.." I am thinking more along the line of they will have "See our website at fishtankclan. com" This tells them that there are other servers affiliated with it.There is also the other likely case of someone talking to someone else and saying that this is the site. In any way they find out about the affiliation and possible way it will have a negative effect on any of the servers we have currently. [edit] To make this more clear I am not worried about people who enjoy playing at DA. I couldn't care less about them they come into a server I admin I treat them the same. What I am talking about is the many people that hate DA. Those that come in there and get abused and then go to site to complain and notice the other servers. This gives FT a bad rep. I would think that if someone is being abused or hates DA they would just leave and wont visit the site to complain they would just go to another server. But i see what you mean and recognise the problem but unfortunately if something like this does happen it is something that we are going to have to deal with, as DA says they are staying , so personally I am just trying to make the best of what is given to us. | ||

Scope people love to complain it is just normal that they would like to come in here to bitch. I see this as a incredibly likely event to happen. DA can say whatever the hell they want to but that will be up to the people to decide. This is a democracy not a dictatorship we have the right to say we don't want that server to be affiliated with us. Instead of "making the best of what you are given" you should focus on improving things. If you feel it isn't bad that is all fine and good you are entitled to your opinions, but if you are just making the best of things then you should be trying to change them to be something good. |

actually goose i competely agree with you on your view on DA. now i regret my behavior of interested in joining DA before, it was only because i had no idea of how their system worked. i only wanted to join because i wanted to get more involved with FT. its ridiculous that a server with a system completely opposite with FT can even be considered affiliated with FT. when i play on other servers for practice or anything, it appauls me when people sit there camping and i seriously scream at them with 'DO YOUR OBJECTIVE!!' and everyone else on t he server looks at me like i'm crazy. personally i'm proud of the things i learned in this community. and i'm proud to represent FT while i'm on other servers. i'm one of those people that loves your server because of the rules, admins, and the care for the players. i've introduced FT to many of my buddies. i say stuff like "omg its the best server ever, you'll love it"(no fucking joke). and they like it too. i love FT because of their system, and if theres anything else that tries to go against that system, i dissapprove. i don't feel like i have the authority or anythign to say stuff like 'GTFO we don't want you here,' but right now i'm just stating my opinions and my reasons of them. The 'immature asshat' crowd is one that [FT] does not want to attract. The asshats that that will see a server with no rules and act like douches are the same wankers that the 3 [FT] servers wish to keep on the Ban list. How does the [FT] clan/community/philosophy stand to benefit from this union? The 3 [FT] servers don't want connections from the type of people that [DA] will attract. Its painfully clear how [DA] stands to benefit, by way of one sided advertising and a forum that allows current [FT]'s to keep their post count while being in [DA]. The 3 [FT] servers advert amonst each other because the type of person that appreciates one, will most likely appreciate the other two. Its clear that the 3 [FT] servers would not want to have adverts for them on [DA] because the asshats will have a means by which to spread throughout the community. We don't want people to get abused and leave because that means they won't return. [FT] wants its servers to be populated and wants returning players. Whats the point of [FT] sending players over to [DA] only to have them abused? These players will have a beef with [FT] and wonder why a good clan like us is associated with that type of clan. I honestly can't understand why [DA] won't just go and start its own site based on its own playerbase. Why leech from the good people here at [FT]? Why benefit from all of the hard work that we have done? The success of the community is because of the exact opposite ideology that [DA] preaches. Why should [DA] benefit from OUR tireless efforts to promote a certain type of philosophy, when their philosophy is the polar opposite? I really don’t think DA should be apart of FT, I don’t think it should be related or anything I have a voice that I want to be heard… I agree with goose on everything he said here is something I think Darknarf, Rim and Kremit are doing… they want to make a server that’s different from any type of server in the past so they make this no rule server okay that’s cool, BUT I also think they are trying to make it apart of FT to get connections and to get traffic on there server. If you really think about this if narf, krem, and rim made a server that was no rules and launched that bitch it would have NO people who knew about it the only way they would get connections was when people see a (whatever there server is) and joined Now when they try to make this server apart of the FT name and community they are hoping to get connections and to get people. But really they are all 3 being stupid and dumb because to go over a year with FT and the rules we have, its ludicrous to even think to make some jackass server no rules apart of this leet clan its down right stupid Also for someone like kremit to over night make and put a server on the FT site (YES its his) but damnit this is a community and clan so for him to do this with out others knowing I think it’s a stab in the back Well that was my voice and I don’t want to take part in this 2 week fling DA server  because like many people have said kremit has had (key word HAD) DA servers before some reason they never last. And a server with no rules I don’t see lasting very long also I looked at the server a few time over the past 2 days for some reason no one is on, why? Is something wrong? Are people not coming or has there been problems with the server?? |

^+1^ I agree with goose as well. I dont think its fair to the new dust2 server. Also aztec is to big for 12 slots so IMO in my 2yrs of css experiance its going to crash-n-burn anyway, and if the server is abusive as everyone is saying I doubt it should be 21 and up it should be 12 and under. I doubt any mature css playa thats 21 or over such as myself even care to bother with other immature people or servers. I also want to add one more thing Please count me out of anything that has to do with other clans, I am a FishTanker [FT] I earned my tag and I live by my tag, I play on other servers and own the shit out of them with my tag on always which reads [FT]. There is no way in this world I would clan whore my own team/members. I wear my [FT]tag with my head up high and full of pride and vow to be only a FTER until I die. Ok well after reading all of this stuff, yes i actually took the time to read all of it, I have to agree with what Goose said about [DA]. Don't get me wrong Kremit I love you to death you're a great guy and fun to play CS:S with but personally I do not like the idea of a server like this being affiliated with [FT]. As others have said people come to the [FT] servers because they are places where they won't just get abused by admins and they are fun environments to play in, and if people see that [DA] is affiliated with [FT] some of those new to the servers might think all of the servers and all of the people in [FT] are just like some tard who abused them on the [DA] server and they won't come back. We don't want to discourage people from coming and playing on the three [FT] servers just because we are affiliated with a server/clan that really doesn't have anything to do with us except for the fact that it contains some members of [FT]. Sorry if what I said seemed repetitive after everybody else saying the same sorts of things but I feel that the points I stated just need to keep being reiterated because we don't need to be affiliated with something that has more potential to harm us than to help us. That's just my two cents I figured I would throw in there even though nobody will a. take the time to read it and b. care but oh well. |

I didn't say i disagreed with Goose I was trying to say if you let them stay and if it succeeds then in the long run less "asshats" will join FT and they will join DA. I know there are a lot of what ifs and maybes but I am just saying what it can be. I do agree that they may of started this the wrong way and they should of started their own site. As the [DA] forum is under clan forums and the site is called fishtankclan it could confuse people. At the moment I think everything is good they have not caused any problems yet, all they have done is sprout a forum and a server onto the website and introduce a new experience . But if and when complaints and bad blood start pouring in then it will be a major concern. You may say " why wait for this problem" well its an "if" the complaints start rolling in an "if" it causes a major problem so i say let them try and do the good they can do. But if it is such a concern for the majority of the community I suggest instead of posting one of these or a vote the server owners and ops of all servers should have a group chat on x-fire or something alike to come to a conclusion. I know this will then rule out the equal rights vibe and "everybody gets to vote" but i think if the top server dogs all come together it will be easier to decide on what to do next.
