i have been away for a couple months cause i was unaware of the servers move. also i have been playing on a few other servers and sarted getting the ideas to surf scrim. i think the first thing we need is a cohesive set of rules and mods to use(notuse). i think it should be 5 vs 5 no block should not be on ff should def be on spawning should be allowed(no way to police this in a match)(should only allow maps that it is harder to spawn on) play best of 15 on both sides also need to figure the best setting for air accel etc.. these are the only hings i have thought of so far. i have had some experience scrimming with my friends in the cal team SaK scrims are fun and a lot more competitive, personally i would love this. alos we can have practices and stuff. lik how the clan meetings used to be. please post any thoughts about this you have i know pope and kd said they were for it. If the scrim thing gets a good response from the surfing community i may try to make a league, but that is if... Griff |

I'm all for the idea. If I can help in any way let me know. As a mapper I suggest sv_airaccelerate be set to 800. This allows you to climb to the top of the ramp if you are blocked, and is not a rediculously high setting. |

Yeah, Brian and I have been talking about this. F7 has almost had a couple of them, but the opponents flaked out at the last min. These sound awesome, but the spawn attacking ordeal might be a big issue. If we decide to or not, people will complain either way. | ||

sounds great! the spawn attacking is a problem for all surf servers, we can stick to maps that are impossible to spawn on (leet, machine2, etc.) or we can deal with it. Sandpaper kisses, papercut bliss. ...i have nothing to say to that. |

yea, I got so pumped when kd and pope were talking about surf scrims, just to find out the other guys were pussies, though we all know F7L5 would be able to kick so many peoples asses. Either with skills in surf, or skills with weapons on surf. Either way, count me in, I'll deffinitly try and make more time for scrims and shit! | ||
